There is no doubt that shopping in Marrakech’s medina and souks is a shopper’s paradise from all around the world. But it’s a bit challenging to discern excellent work from the bad. On this half-day private tour, we will escort you through the city’s artisan and retail scene and help you find the perfect deal at a reasonable price.

Your local, certified guide will take you to the best shops and markets in Marrakesh's Old City and Souks, where local artisans sell unique handcrafted, authentic items. You will have the opportunity to meet at least seven local artisans, including a leather shop selling Moroccan-style bags and jackets, a silver and bead jeweller from Morocco, a herbalist who sells spices and argan oil, a carpet shop, a caftan shop, and a scarf vendor, and a lamp store that is beyond description. During your shopping trip, you will learn a few basic Arabic sentences, a break at a local café to try Moroccan sweets and Berber tea. You'll finish up with a drive around the new town, the Majorelle Gardens, YSL Museum, and go back to your hotel.
